About Me.....

I had my first ever try dive in rhodes back in 1999 and carried out two dives in the kelithea bay i really enjoyed every moment. The next diving experience i had was in 2004 in Palma nova, Majorca. This was another one day course and compleated a shore dive with the local PADI instructor. My real passion came for diving during my first ever trip to Sharm El Sheik in 2007. I was so amazed with how clear the water was and just how far i could see. Unfortunatly it was a non-diving holiday as my wife didnt like the idea of spending 4 out of my 7 day holiday in a classroom. This was a decission i later came to thank her for. on my return i booked myself onto a "BSAC Ocean diver course" with a local BSAC branch. I found learning all the different skill very intresting. Once April 2008 came i was ready for open water. I was a little scared of going into stoney cove due to knowing it was going to be cold. I did it anyway (in a semi dry suit) and was more than happy. I think the water was arround 4-5 degrees so quite nippy. By the end of April 2008 i was a full "Ocean Diver" and enjoyed my first real diving trip to Sharm El Sheik. Due to being keen to learn i started the "Sports Diver" course in May 2008. Again i loved every moment of diving and learning. I managed to gain that by July. I was getting quite frustrated with out any other courses to sit so i decieded to go on the "Instructor Foundation Course" in September 2008 and i managed to become a "Assitant Diving Instructor". I began training other divers how to become good divers and really enjoyed it. Infact a bit too much as i ended up becoming the "Training Officer" for my branch. Im now part way trough compleating my "Dive Leader" course. Hopefully once compleat i intend on compleating my full "Open Water Instructor" so i can teach without any supervision.
